| hello! i am SO excited! i GOT MY VERY FIRST SHAW! yes! i got my very own BERNARD SHAW MAN! !!!!! just think of it. i got my very first bernard shaw, this guy who got a nobel prize, this guy who at first REGECTED a nobel prize! and i have his book! !!!! doesn't that just send excitement down your spine? !!! i'm so happy! i mean, this is just the beginning! i may be owning my very own shakespeare, and then to my very own YEATS! KEATS! SHELLY! DICKINSON!!!!!! :p i am happyhappyhappy!
and speaking of books, swindon has a divine collection of books, *especially on film* but it IS the most expensive bookstore in hong kong... *SOBS* and commercial press is a complete dump. they have NO POETRY SECTION! i mean just look at the poetry section in page one! it's not large, but it has a sweet collection! it's just pure terrible! and they don't even have a film section! film? not under art? what da heck? and also, i find a problem. if i want to study french, what and where do i start? it's like.. for example ... buisness, where do i start? i mean, there is absolutely no step on stone book! and yes, there are, but they cost hell. so i ended up looking for french for dummies. :p but i'm just happyhappyhappy! well, dismissing the fact that i have a killer maths test tomorrow. and i have no clue how i will survive it, but then again, there is so much more to life than maths tests... which will not justify me for not studying. :p but i have! i know how to spell binery numbers! :p and i love bread! :p
well, one must go have another look at maths text book. well, even if it doesn't help. afterall, it's for the sake of the comfort of the heart. :p yes, i am decieving myself.
goodbye to love,

| hello! yesterday was happy and unhappy, of which none of them i will talk about. the happy one would make you all jealous :p jk and the unhappy one would be unfair to you all because reading someone's senseless ramblings is rather pointless and boring. :p so no, not much. although monday, we have maths test, and i am actually rather freaked out. and yes, i am feeling happier and lighter :p no, it's not because of the wine. :p and ah, let me go into my day today. nothing much. :p there, i went to the new place, and yes, it is abnormally big. :p yuppee... and everyone must come over! and no, i cannot write on my wall. it's freaking YELLOW! and my dad has all these plans on my room, and how i must follow them. the thing is, i can buy the stuff for my own room with my money, so no, he's not entitiled to his frigging comments. anywayz, the ceiling of the corridor to our place is of a warm orange, only echoing the brillance of the hibiscus growing happily in the cozy little patch of soil. lovely, and from my room, you can see the basketball, with loads hot guys. :p jk and topless, steph. :p sorry. jkjkjkjkjk. and today i'm feeling good. walking back home, i saw this lovely tree. yep, it's almost autumn, and leaves are changing color. in the midst of all that lushy green leaves, you see orange freckled in between, and then when a little breeze blew by, and all the leaves are looking down, and they would all start waltzing to the beat. and yes, i have a reason for being happy today! :p oh! and someone gave me this RED top from ITALY!!! ITALY! yeah, but it's red, and well, not really my type. and after some washing, it started to, well, it was supposed to fade in color, and on the contrary, it started to look brighter and now it may as well glow-in-the-dark! no way i am ever going to wear that stuff, even though it's from ITALY! and the brand is BALLOON. :p ah! okies, no more from me. just have a great day all! *grins*
some people have expressed doubt whether i'm still off beef. i still am. i'm surprised at my own persistence. :p

| here are some pics to light up the screen. craving for movies... again... *cries*

depp! haha, this is the only pic i can find of him in PIRATES. the movie, as i have said wasn't all THAT THAT THAT good, but he was... yes, need i say more? i understand that the first person to puke would be megan, because he looks rather gayish, but seriously, he was good. :p and i think i have rambled a considerable amount about him, and i'll stop right here. :p

hepburn! just look at this pic! this is just some woman, and her son sean is publishing a new book! i must see it!

breakfast at tiffanys! actually, the book by truman capote was followed pretty closely, especially the lines, but then the ending and stuff were changed. :p

catherine! haha, yes, i know that she has got herself a terrible husband. :p but ah, what da heck.
okies, coming up are pics of the yes, notorious katherine hepburn. that is a woman who is just pure sharp!
now, dados is approaching

| okies, i've just had a really interesting convo with someone. i was telling about the rainforest thingy that's happening in Asia, and that the size of rainforests in asia are the ones that are shrinking at the highest speed. and the reply to that led to many interesting subjects in china:
poverty. when one has nothing, one sells natural resources. it's a bit like donating blood in china. in china, people donate blood, *actually they sell* and they get money back. they don't give a damn whether it's clean or not. all that they have, is their blood, and if using that, can bring them some money, they are willing to use it. this increases the number of aids patients in china by an alarming number. and then what happens after these people get aids from these blood syringes? they still donate blood. even it's "dirty" blood. these people don't give a damn about what kind of disease they are spreading by earning money. because they are desperate for money. same for our rainforests. our rainforests are cut down by desperate poor people who do not have money, and know that the resources in these rainforests will give them money. this is, yes the power of poverty. i was just... what's the word? flabbergasted. yes. isn't it disgusting? isn't the whole thing terrible? but yet it is so true, which is what makes the whole thing so depressing.
i'm currently actually not feeling that bad about this issue because i've just had some wine.:p a bit lightheaded. and i've been thinking about trees. as in, really trees.
love all the songs in my salad! haha, and i'm looking for an outfit to wear to dance tomorrow! *grins* don't worry, i won't turn up in my nutty hawaiian shorts. :p
urgh. this is bad. i hate being depressed. so i'll go grab some butter, and maybe make some cookies. it always feels extra good to have cookies melt in your mouth, and seeing your sister look jealously in your direction. j/k. but it is fulfilling, seeing your sister munching away happily at your cookies. and yes, today has been inspiring. only too inspiring, but hey you bastard, thanks for calling!
scarbourough fair,
emss~!
but no, don't be depressed :p and i think i may just dump my chinese book report and go and watch one movie. yup. and i have to take a shower. i'm still in my uniform. :p | | |
